Rats are an underrated overdrive with the gain down on them, the 1981 Inventions DRV which is loved by so many is a Rat :lol: I've just never been able to get a toan out of them I like with my rig :-(

This is a funny thing…Rats are so iconic, I keep wanting to buy the gorilla warfare on tm, but every demo I watch just doesn’t work for me!

I tried one years ago, on loan, can’t even remember my opinion of it, obviously wasn’t very memorable!

That dude has a lot of stuff. He takes a lot of hate over it for some reason. The way I see it is he is a pro player, so earned it by actually playing music. Better he gets it than some bang average blues lawyer, or one of those investor collector types that does not even play, e.g., I think the Black Strat went to one of them, so it is no longer used for making music, which is sad in a way. I do not mind that Kirk Hammet has Greenie either. Same reason.

Happier with Hammet having Greeny than someone like the hard rock cafe or guitar centre owners. Deserves to be played, its an instrument first, a slice of history second.

Reminds me, I need to play at least one of my guitars today, or this week. Or month.
