Re: Rig Rundown
The FOH stuff at 4m30s is pretty interesting, nice compact digital rig.

Re: Rig Rundown
Watched that yesterday, very interesting to see Dave make the switch, he's been very conservative with his rig for years, hardly changing it etc. and allegedly using a GT100 or GR1000 for a solo fly rig according to Nita Strauss I believe.
I'm assuming when you get to the size of gigs being played by Maiden that there are so many considerations around clean power, complex FOH signal paths etc. that there's probably zero reason not to go with a quality digital solution if it's reliable and you like the tones. I imagine Adrian may follow suit one day, but he's very picky about his tone.
I also suspect they'll use a huge selection of vintage tube amps in the studio though.

Re: Rig Rundown
Finally got around to watching this, was surprised to find they're still on the Axe FX II, but sounds like it would be involved changing over at some stage.
Also, I love how the three of them effectively look like different stages of the same Pokemon aesthetically

Re: Rig Rundown
Great stuff.
What amazed me was the sheer background noise from all those amps when nothing was happening!
Must have been deafening when he let rip in what is effectively a container by the look of it!
