Yeah. Looked like one of those chicks was gona flash the knockers. Knofler's 2.5 minutes was nothing much either. Still, I'm a fan of that man.

Tracked down Control a week or so ago, bloody good film - especially as the surrogate band played most of the stuff on the soundtrack - they made a great Joy Division clone bandfoal30 wrote:BG, is that Control?
or is that a film... I don't know.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the Roxy one. I'd sort of forgotten how much I love Roxy Music.voice of reason wrote:Prime TV are showing a Doco on Mondays @ 9.35
Last week was Roxy Music - was excellent, a couple of weeks ago was Freddie / Queen
This week is Tom Jones ... so I'm waiting to see what's on next week
Re: Knopfler on Close Up. I agree, it was a pretty "meh" kind of interview, I didn't really understand the point of it.
"Vince, have you ever tried playing an expensive bass?" - Polarbear.

Re: Band Documentaries
Anyone watch that Guns 'n' Roses doco on prime last night?
I turned it off after about twenty minutes, pretty dull and they couldn't even be arsed to spring for any actual GnR music.

No, I gave it a miss. G&R are not among my favourite bands. Now you've made me curious though... how did they do a doco on band without using their actual music?Jenesis wrote:Anyone watch that Guns 'n' Roses doco on prime last night?

Re: Band Documentaries
Just used generic, riffy hard rock which I assume was written for the doco or found in some archive. Bleh.
Bugger, missed that Roxy Music one.
