Both strung with old (now) TI Jazz Flats. Neither will need to see new strings - ever (although I do have a spare set somewhere just in case).
My P has been refretted twice, firstly because I was a complete idiot in the '70s and used RS66 fret eaters which were well-named for a reason and secondly because I defretted it for a few years to play the lines before I went back to playing the spaces.
Sweet lil’ rig there - what’s the jazz?
Also yay Rog!

The Jazz is a ‘70s RI I bought from Guitar Center in Hollywood in 2008. Very nice player but me being me, I had to change out the pick guard cos it came with a black one and I prefer tort.

Oooh I used to have one of those in natural/ black finish. Probably the most mojotastic bass I’ve ever played or owned.
I would do the opposite - swap the tort for the black but keep everything else the same

My bass playing is arguably more important than my guitar playing. Got a jap squier p with bartolinis and chromes.

I’m looking out for any interesting pickups for a bass project I’m putting together. By interesting I mean not pbass or jbass. Something Gibson maybe like thunderbird or a big chrome brick humbucker. I have a set of SD quarter pounder pbass pups to trade/sell.
Any got anything cool?

I do actually, but my serious confession is really enjoying playing that song. on the bass
Don't ask me about Barry Mannilow, it won't end well.

Barry is big in India, because he writes the songs that make the whole world Singh.
