If anyone is interested in trying a short scale there’s a 1972(?) Fender Musicnaster on TM via Cash Converters.

Went for $1700

If it’s not been chopped under the hood that’s potentially a good deal.

Seriously considering buying a Fender Pro II P Bass in mystic surf green.

I like one pickup basses and need to make peace with that fact.

It’s nice to have options.
Rocked the Jazz through the big CTM-300 tonight in a 4 piece. Cool to change things up.

My bass has been living under my bed and my bass amp a glorified shelf for my laptop bag, I think I should bust it out tomorrow and make some noise!

Try and practice/play every day. Even if it’s just 30-45 minutes. Good for brain, hands, soul.

Make a hanger for it in the living room. Play it continuously. Don't be afraid to play the same line over and over - groove before notes.

I have three hangers / stands full of guitars behind me right now and they're all dusty, I don't think its the availability I need to work on  I do have a recording project I want to start so that might get me a bit more motivated!

I've been learning this - a really good exercise for decoupling left and right hands while keeping a strong rhythm.
