Thanks.

Inspired by the old-school Fender Tele bass, but with a slightly more modern pickup configuration.
I saw that Leo Lyons has a similar one.

In 1989 at Charlie Jemmet’s Music Store on Cashel Street there was a 1968 Blue Paisley Telecaster

Which I didn’t purchase as $995 was “too pricey “

The pain stays with me

A couple of years later had no hesitation dropping $2K on a L2 Steinberger.

It’s a bit like the fender JP90

Except Savoska’s instrument might be good
The 2 JP90 I tried were awful. One was actually shoddy.

There’s a Fender Boxer on TM
Could be an option for medium scale try out ?

I didn't buy a 1961 Hofner 500/1 for $1000 which was offered to me by Alan Kingsley-Smith. 1999
About 1992/93 I saw a Rickenbacker 4005 bass offered for sale in a Wellington music shop for $1400. I didn't buy it.

Bloody rattly bass cab! Thought it was a voice coil at first, but a few hours of stuffing about revealed a loose thingy - the part that makes the handle recess.
I had a look online and it seems us bass players spend much time fixing rattling cabs, rattling rooms and even rattling bass guitars.
