Free shipping and pickup from Oamaru - feels scammy. Recent positive feedback though, hard to know.StrummersOfThunder wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 12:45 pm https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/marketplace ... 4450663370
What to make of this...
Obv not original case but also I cant find any evidence of a 1978 p bass having a gold anodized guard so Im picking this is non original also.

My 75 Greco Jazz has frettboard radius. Not much but it feels lovely to play.crowbgood1 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 4:43 pmI'm sure it does. I will have another look when I get home next week.MikeC wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 4:02 pmSo your fretboard has a radius?crowbgood1 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 3:18 pm
My pups were really microphonic so I had them waxed and made a healthy change.
The neck radius is good, the frets are very vintage![]()
Mine is apparently built in 1975.

Difference is an accident of birth and it should therefore never be the source of hatred or conflict

Had negotiated to grab a cab and his looper at a good price but then someone banged a bid on both cabs

100w work well enough? That was always my trepidation with V4B's

Re: Anyone like bass guitars?
It was more than enough, however I did bring my Bassman 500 along as a backup in case it was falling short. I swapped over to the Bassman for one set at a gig. Two quite different amp heads, although the overdrive channel on the Bassman can get quite close with a bit of gain. A lot of favourable comments at the gigs. I was using my old P Bass and my Ricky 4001, both sounded great

A few different gigs this next weekend so I'll be doing the same testing again.
