I think the ball ends either don't "fit" or "catch" in the holes.

It was long ago and far away, but I'm sure they went in there. Happy to admit my memory is shitefoal30 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 30, 2021 9:10 am https://www.pinterest.nz/pin/775252523345973973/

Righto
Normal strings go through there
Then screw down a hexagonal piece to hold in place
I don't have the hexagonal clamps nor know where the rest of the normal string would go.

Re: Anyone like bass guitars?
I'm selling my daughter's fretless bass on trademe.
It's a Cort and has acoustic powerbridge pick up as well as Bartolini electric pickup.
She was desperate to have a fretless but of course you have to be pretty confident in your ear etc to play a fretless out - and she went to fretted pretty quickly .
Rubber monkey is the only site that has them and is priced at $1295 - I'm sure we paid a lot less than that.
Anyway thought I'd try my luck at $800 start - is that high?

They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

Re: Anyone like bass guitars?
Truly sad. Must admit I didn’t realise he was THAT old (70-odd)
Always been an SWR user (2x Bass 350s, 2x Triads, a Goliath III, a Goli III Jr & an SM-900 that the local electronics tech is trying to resurrect. Had a Tone Hammer 350 for the last couple of years which sounds great with the Goli Jr & is far easier to cart around, but I still can’t quite bear to part with my SWR kit.

RIP Deon Estus
Played Bass with Marvin Gaye, Wham, Kim Wild, George Michael.
"Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" is probably his most famous bassline.

Nice collection sir!
I climbed on the back of a giant albatross which flew through a crack in the cloud to a place where happiness reigned all year round and music played ever so loudly
