Ok, the Attack Goat goes awesome with an Envelope Filter hopefully the Ram's Fuzz is comparable. I see it has a specific Octave switch
Only ever heard good things about Free The Tone, yet to hear it in person tho!
If you get the chance have a go.
On first go it reminds me a little of the Sadowsky pre , Treb and Bass boost

Running

Fender Jazz - Dunlop Wah - 3Leaf a Filter - Wounded Paw Attack Goat - Boss PQ3B - Free the Tone O/D - Wounded Paw Battering Ram - Diamond BCP1 - Korg PB - Boss BF2B into the front of an Ashdown Klystron ABM 400

Was going great but now big volume loss
I assume it's a line level thing

exactly ... I have 2 basses. One has strings that are at least 20 years old (yes it does sound pretty shit at this point....good for stoner rock) and the other the strings are 3 or 4 years old

really should get a couple of sets

This Free The Tone Overdrive really is the shit
High Quality Equipment

I've had a look online at other things they make but TBF the pricing is probably prohibitive

Anyway I'm pleased I got this Bass Overdrive
