That fucking Octave Pedal is playing up again

Anyone ever had a pedal that randomly suffers from electric static ?

I cannot figure out why today is bad , Tuesday was excellent, last week rubbish.

Not exactly the same but my Memory Lane was really unreliable for a while and the culprit was oxidised input jacks.

The Pedal is basically brand new

It’s seriously pissing me off

I’ll hopefully take it to Steve Bartlett this week and see what he says

I’d sell it and buy a Black Country Interval but I don’t want to curse anyone else.

Given the crap weather I’ve had far too much time on my hands

Can confirm:

Solidgoldfx Beta Germanium is excellent I just would have designed it different. I’m using it at the front of the board as a preamp.

I like VCA Compression at the end / towards end of the board. I’m not convinced I need the Dreadbox for this. I might be better off selling that and purchasing a single use VCA Bass Compression Pedal. Candidates include the Seymour Duncan model. I’ll get more reading done on that tomorrow

My 3Leaf Proton is cool but has anyone checked their prices??
Like out the gate.

The Boss BF-2B maybe approaching its twilight years :( What a great pedal that’s been. I probably don’t need both a Flanger and a Chorus though.

Renewed a proton listing on reverb without checking current prices… missed out on an additional couple extra dollars that could go towards more pedals.

I think I’d easily get x4 what I paid for mine
Not sure why demand is at that level

Production has been scaled back a bit. Or atleast remained the same with increased demand. Spencer is still building in batches. Might be only direct sales now compared to previous distributor channels.
