Re: Bass effects!
They sort of work in different ways. Both good but for me Diamond is #1. Hopefully get to try a Free The Tone Silky Comp one day.

Re: Bass effects!
Not convinced on the OC2 hype myself, probably the whammy does enough of my octave needs. Also wishing I had the big Darkglass sound in a smaller box. That one is overkill for an irregular Tool cover band gig…

Lovely pedal but not using. Mint.
$280 including postage if anyone wants a go.
Yes, I bought it at this price - cheap as chups!

I’ve got a 3leaf Proton and it’s a nice Filter.hercules wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 4:53 pm 0D871D6C-35B7-4D9B-8EB8-8B34867FC493.png
It’s the “do everything” board but it still needs a good envelope filter - I have my eye out for a 3 Leaf Proton but they are stupid money.

How does the OC-2 go before Compression? Did you sell your OC-5?hercules wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 4:53 pm 0D871D6C-35B7-4D9B-8EB8-8B34867FC493.png

Re: Bass effects!
I’m thinking another board as I don’t want to get rid of any pedals.

Re: Bass effects!
Haven't tried that order as I've always run a compressor first...I'll give it a go. OC5 has gone, though I regret it!foal30 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 10:00 pmHow does the OC-2 go before Compression? Re: Bass effects!
The Proton Filter works better with a Compressor before it
There’s two on Reverb now for approximately $640 NZD that’s bonkers coin

Re: Bass effects!
Had a successful Fuzz Tone Friday night. Normally I don’t bother with Fuzz live.
I’m thinking flatwound strings and a light plectrum help here. (YMMV)
