Rain Song redone

Post by Tsuken »

My first version of this had all guitar tones from my Zoom 505, so it was screaming out to be redone. I also took the opportunity to try out a suggestion from the good Capt Black, and omitted the harmonies first time round. I think he was right: it works better.

Oh man, the original version of this was great, but this new one is amazing

The guitar tones are a million times better (which isn't a surprise considering the changes in gear since the first recording ;)). It works better without the harmonies in the first part as well, good call Capt :) The addition of drums is a winner too.

If Page had played a version like this, then I may have had to reconsider what my favourite zeppelin album is :D

Then again nothing will ever compare to "Led Zeppelin 2" :D

I agree completely. Although, my fondness for Achilles Last Stand and Tea For One make 'Presence' a top contender :D

Ahh, I haven't really listened to "Presense" Although I've listened too Achilles Last Stand. I maybe be able to find it at the warehouse, the whole Led Zeppelin catalogue for only $15 each :)

Then again im to cheap and I'll borrow it off my "CD Collection" :D
