After recording it with the external mic preamp turned off... I had another crack at it... not as good a take but meh... its a riff I came up with in about 2 minutes, but something to get me on the board!

How can I be sure I'm here?
The pills that I've been taking confuse me...

I am struggling with just starting, I will aim for tomorrow - the days that I'm back in the office now are just stupidly hectic and yesterday I just forgot about this altogether.

Starting is the hardest bit, not sure where I'll find time to do mine today, might be late tonight, friend over for the day and dinner :mental:

Forgetting about it is the best thing. Imagine the horror of having to pick up a guitar

so, play one note into a looper then dance on the pedalboard and twist knobs for 3 minutes, job done!

So, this is supposed to be as simple as record some playing, literally anything, even just on a phone, upload it to youtube then imbed or at least share the link here?

I might try this. Our drummer quit Monday, so need an excuse to plug in the guitar while I find another, so this could work.

Random noodling is all good right?

Away fishing from tomorrow, but will try and make it work on Monday!

Yup, literally anything, I feel like I have to maybe record myself tuning tonight as I have had a friend over all day and we're about to watch a movie so zero time alone to noodle

There's your problem; it's only meant to be 3 minutes.

Indeed, and the idea is to make it low stress so we continue to do it, so don't over think it, just set your phone to record and then you can just cut out a section on your phone that you feel like sharing, even if its a 20 second Mayer riff cause you're doing it at 9:30 after 2 hours of Aikido
