Yeah, it could have swung nicely, but went in a different direction.foal30 wrote:could bust some swing under that nicely i think Chris, it's like on the verge of implying it.
good job.
There's a demo up under here, named Emily
http://www.myspace.com/reboundbandits (the band I'm in atm, need to re-record the demos, they're all recordings from before I joined bar white knight kings)
I cringe at the lyrics, but hey, not my song i spose. Nice chord progression though. None of the guitar parts on that demo are mine, just quick ones put together by the writer of the song. Could polish into a decent song with some revising, i like the pre-solo part though, nice build up.
I wanna track a blues song I wrote, hopefully get a demo up here soon. I find it way easier to play over songs I write for some reason (lead guitar wise). Probably because I write them with it in mind.

The beginning i was like, hmmmmm...10 seconds into it i could def hear a song there. I like it, well done dude.
Reminds me of that band, and i can't for the life remember their name,... popular NZ band, they have the catchy phrase ...."take a little piece of my heart babe"... The music vid they each have a room each, young guys.... and they are now the intro song for "go girls" tv2 program now on TV <<<<< if anyone can decipher their name form that jargon

Re: chord melody intro
electric confectionaires?
I need to convince the band that we don't need a 70s organ in EVERY song, hahaha :>
Im hoping to bring some more blues to the picture though, we'll see how it pans out
