That sounds more my speed. Now I just need a recording interface. Oh, and some time. And talent.rob_on_guitar wrote:With some of the tracks..... like tracks that wont make it (I always make more than I need) I will post up for massive jam like in the old days.

Ooh, I've got some of those now. Hmm, heavy reverse-delay drenched wah solo it is.Scooter13 wrote:Screw talent. Use effects!hamo wrote:That sounds more my speed. i think i could manage thatScooter13 wrote:Screw talent. Use effects!
Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

I'm keen. You still got my number? I'm still in the Tron too.

Re: Guitarists for recording
Lost everyone's numbers when I lost my phone
Im sure it will be cool to have everyones names in the hat, I have only decided on 3 peoples songs so far, as I already had them in mind, so over the next couple of months Ill post up a progress report and whats been done/needed etc
If it goes well I might make 12 - 15 songs. Being instrumentals they songs will probably only sit around the 3 - 4 min mark.
Blown away by the interest though, I will try make them sound as pro as i can, should be an awesome compilation!

Re: Guitarists for recording
Sounds cool Rob, I am not a crazy shredder, but if you still want to, send a track or put one up for download I will see what I can come up with & if I think its worth while maybe I can grab your number & talk about laying it down?

Re: Guitarists for recording
All good man, as long as it's fun Im all for it, not all songs will be shred fests, some songs are quite heavy, some fast, some slow songs... I kind of have little ruff recordings/ideas for a few of them, so yea, Ill post a few samples as they come along.
I have an idea for a clean guitar turn heavy epic one, Im maybe thinking of getting 2 guitarists for... just throwing ideas together really, but I like the idea of my rhythms holding together the different leads of everyone. Will be bad ass!
