So I finally find a band and the drummers no longer interested...
Bass, Guitar, Keys, Lead Vox and 2 BV singers
the current repetoire is a mix of British Blues and Motown.
I bring a rocky element to the mix....
Originals exist, more being written. Stylistically these are not constrained.
The band is a "hobby" band...that means most of us have busy jobs and/or families. The commitment required is a minium of 1 rehearsal a week. Expected gig load is 1 a month ...maybe more at times.
Drummer absolute requirements...
able to play in time (4/4, 6/8, shuffle) and at reasonable volume.
able to turn to rehearsal up on time - with gear, having learned the songs
Able to laugh, joke, cry
A real bonus would be skill at multiple styles etc - a massive PA - own road crew - elderly rich uncle/aunt who loves music....
