I HATE YOU ALL!!!
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

If we’re going strictly by letter shape, would it not be making a C-shaped neck a D-shaped neck?

I just acquired an Epi LP deluxe with a single dogear P90. It's the first guitar I have ever owned with a 50's neck. Kicking myself a bit for not trying them sooner, as it's so darn comfy.

Only if you flattened the back of the C neck which all advice here says one must not do.
