As an aside here is a concept sketch of a reverb tank I did while musing about builds. Once the acid wore off I went with a conventional tweed enclosure.

Kitschy! Does the in/out positioning fit with your setup? I always though in was on the right? In out can be made 'where ever'. They usually sit with the 'in' in-between the swell and mix and the out left of the tone.
