Re: Offset chat
By the way, if Offset Guitar chat is also Surf Guitar chat, I now have Surfy Industries outboard reverb units and pedals in stock at Tone Lounge. And check out their Blossom Point pedal.

I must admit that nitro certainly does age right.robthemac wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 5:46 pmI am a complete skeptic when it comes to the tonal effects of paints, especially on electric guitars. But nitro just ages the right way in my eyes.olegmcnoleg wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 5:41 pmIt’s not nitro, apparently. All of their products are water-based. The website reckons nitro dulls the tonez.
Before nitro, acoustic instruments were French polished for an even thinner and less protective finish. I expect when nitro came along all the gear snobs were very disparaging.
However, as a novice in guitar finishes, credit must be given for wudtone for making a really easy to use bit of kit! I couldn't care less whether they think nitro isn't good for tone or not haha, I'm just happy with their product!

That's purdy, but I suspect that the control plate not being parallel with the bridge would trigger me.robthemac wrote: ↑Tue Apr 06, 2021 9:41 am Is this offset?

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
