Post by mr_sooty »

Hey y'all, just posted up a video of a bunch of mods I did on a Squier Vintage Modified bass. Have a look if it's of any interest to you. Will be posting up a bunch more guitar/bass mod videos on this channel.

I really hate that background music. I know minor quibble but I watched a you tube video once that played it interminably, do a bit of talking, do a bit of doing - background music for 20 minutes.... its about a minute loop or something. I ended up wanting to kill the writer of that loop!!!!

You're a muso, make your own background music!@!!!

and will you read this before the next post you make in 3 years time? hmmm...
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Recording my own backing music is a good idea, but man there is already so much work putting a video like this together! Takes me many many hours. There's plenty to work on to improve them but if I find if I overthink it I won't do it at all. I've definitely improved since my first video. Check out the production quality of this one! Circa 2007.

I would welcome music submissions if anybody wants to provide something.

Of all the tunes. I just went to some royalty free sites and listened to a bunch of stuff and went 'that'll do'. The sped up parts of the video where you're actually doing the work would just be weird in silence. I thought about doing a VO - 'I'm doing this now I'm doing this' but decided that would be lame too.
