I'd suggest just playing it. The ink should be far less tough than the actual finish and will fade and wear off.

Yeah that's just like saying if someone spray paints a dick into your car, just drive it and don't carerickenbackerkid wrote:I'd suggest just playing it. The ink should be far less tough than the actual finish and will fade and wear off.
The kid who owned it before me had it 9 years and the signatures were still clear as day despite lots of use, so I will agree to fully disagree... especially when a few buffs with isopropyl alcohol has now 90% solved the prob.

No, I reckon if you had Alan Partridge sprayed on your car, you'd definitely have to have him removed.philly wrote:Lol.... Alan partridge?rickenbackerkid wrote:The Scarecrow wrote:

I'm surprised a guitar with people's signatures on it is any good, actually. Usually they're just cheap crap.

It's a mid level model with active pickups, bit of a metal player's guitar. actually a pretty decent backup for most heavier applications.Vince wrote:I'm surprised a guitar with people's signatures on it is any good, actually. Usually they're just cheap crap.

Re: Best way to remove silver marker?
Looking at it on trademe. I think you could safely try and completely remove the marker. If it ended up shining the paint job, I think it would still look really cool, as long as it was uniform over the guitar. It would be a semi gloss type look.
