About as simple as I can get while still having all the sounds I want. Top row lives in the FX loop, bottom row in front of the Plexi Combo. CS-2 only comes out when I'm playing 12 string. Anyone selling a Boss tremolo? Top row is a little squishy and non-matchy!
and acoustic rig too:

Re: Speaker / Amp impedance mismatch...
Exactly. That's a nice one to use as you can mount it in the cab with a couple screws and use some heat shrink to cover the wires.

Re: Gear That Everybody Seems To Love But You Don't
I can't vibe with - Compressor Pedals as an always on type thing. I love them as an obvious effect and always use one with my 12 string, but I've had some really nice compressors, and I turn them off and think . . ah, that's better. Reverb pedals - with the exception of a tube driven spring reverb o...

Re: Speaker / Amp impedance mismatch...
a 100% mismatch is fine, but your PJ will be working very hard to drive a 4ohm speaker. And the PJ's (if stock) have a cute small OT, so it's probably not the best practice. However I'd say go for it, but maybe don't use it like that all the time. Also - if you're interested in a speaker for the PJ,...

AER AK-15+ Acoustic Pickup
Installed a new pickup in my Lowden yesterday. I haven't played it much in 2-3 years, as I haven't had a pickup in it, and I hardly play guitar outside of gigs. Anyway, really nice to have it up and running, and I'll be playing it this year. Pickup I put in is an AER AK-15, Mic + Piezo system and it...

Re: The Acoustic Thread
What aspect of the design in particular made you wonder? In that closeup bridge shot, once the string leaves the saddle towards the hole in the bridge, it appears that there is a break angle, ie resulting in string friction in the hole, ie wear. The other thing that I wonder, is if a horizontal cra...

Re: Pedal power supply recommendations?
yup. I use them all the time, often there are no issues at all. Some pedals don't like them, often that's down to poor pedal design rather than anything else. I lean towards buy once, cry once, but currently am using a cheap Chinese supply. It's fully isolated, works great, cost about $70
