Re: Show Us Your Guitar
Ahhhhh....... i'm FAMILIAR with denche from my ATTEMPTS at trying to get hold OF some cool JaNsEn guitars. Unfortunately HE pops UP in every auction involving them. That said, he's usually the one selling at a way inflated price. I've heard rumours of this denche blue. Is it the same as my gat? Hope...

This is my Daphne blue 1961 Fender Stratocaster. She has a ton of mojo and amazing tone, I wouldn't sell her for all the money in the world. Well............. that's not strickly true, but the number would have to be worth it! I got her in London many moons ago and I use her at almost every gig I pl...

Yeah, I just got outbid on a Seymour Duncan pick up boost pedal by $1 on TM. Should have really kept a better eye on proceedings. If there's anyone in Chch with a boost pedal I can try out, let me know!

Devo. That would be sweet. I could wear a jumpsuit and weird pyramid hat and everybody would think that was........ well, still pretty weird.crowbgood1 wrote:Maybe Devo? I seen them live in the early 80's. The guitars came out on a conveyor belt there were so many.tonymcbony wrote:What band are you in anyway?

Getting a bit too personal there Tony. One that gets around, usually with varying guitar output.

I can't sell guitars TonyMickBony cause I have constant GAS and I break sooooo many strings live that I have to gig with at least 4.

I'm so lazy, if Shortland St comes on and the remote is out of reach, I end up watching Shortland St instead of flicking to the Simpsons on 5. That's pretty fuckin lazy.......

Oh, tones... that's right! All sorts. I'm in a covers band so everything from twangy plunky Straty bell tones to hugely overdriven crunchy grind tones! Maybe I need one of those ugly variax line 6 guitars. Eeeeeeeeewwwwhhhhh!

Hey Ash.
A variation of amps depending on the venue. I've been using a 5 watt Epiphone valve junior through a 4 by 12 for the smaller places and a Mesa Boogie subway rocket through a 4 by 12 at the bigger places.

Re: Question about pedals......
So far it looks like a boost pedal is the answer. I know it sounds like I'm bagging the Rockshop but I didn't even get 'boost pedal' as an option, I just got "dunno, never had anyone ask before". For me the problem is that usually live I use 2 different Les Pauls and 2 different Strats. Th...
