The Silverpistol fuzz and boost are perfect, and the cheap xvive delay does the job nicely for the odd bit of slap echo (only complaint is that the time knob is super easy to bump off the optimum setting so I have to reset it ever...

I think they look better on a jazzmaster or something with a bigger body, definitely out of proportion on a Strat IMO.

The only thing I can suggest is only use one colour of wire to make debugging it easier, if its always the black wire that causes the problem it should be easier to find.

Success! The El Grande appears to be a big muff derivative of some kind so its gonna be quite happy to be after buffers and compressors etc... at least in my experience they are :-)
