Re: MikeC Sixty-One SRT
Here's the prototype of my Sixty-One SRT amp badge designed & 3D printed by bobiron. What do you think?
Lot's of skills on this forum and bobiron's a GC!
Sorry about the slight sag on the "SRT" - it's the tube rectifier I guess

Re: Les Paul and Tele tuning stability tips?
So I sucked it up and bought a babicz telecaster bridge for my Tele. 6 saddle version. Firstly, holy shit - this sounds noticeably different unplugged and the sustain is incredible. It really is a level up in design. Only thing is... In the heat of the moment I didn't take into account the string s...

Re: Has anyone tried graphtech ratio tuners?
I've got the Graphtec Ratio tuners on my Tele. They aren't light weights but they work fantastic. I use standard tuning.

Re: MikeC Sixty-One SRT
Here's a new Sixty-One SRT demo by blackstratblues. Warren played a single coil Strat for over half of this so for those of us wondering about those tones, here we go. And there's some great LP humbucker tones in the final 3rd. At the end he demos the amp with the VRM turned right down (it's at full...

Re: Redplating el84
That looks like a resistor to pin 3, which would make it a cathode bias resistor. Looks like it was working hard to do its job. You don’t have to replace it and since the amp seems to have individual biasing you can just pop in another valve. Just to be safe, I’d try one of the other old valves in ...
