I never know until I launch into it whether I will use compressor or not. Just haven't been able to make up my mind though nowdays...

Can you test some 1500 grit wet & dry anywhere? Making sure it's wet of course.

Re: Studio vs stage compressors - questions

The horrible fr...

Re: Studio vs stage compressors - questions
I've asked many times before why people like them but have never really received a satisfactory answer ... I've used Keeley and Wampler. Currently have a Wampler on my pedalboard. I use it for 3 things: 1. An effect. That chicken pickin Tele thing just ain't right unless you squash it good. 2. Note...

Sad day. One of my all time guitar heroes. Anything tricky or cool I can do on an acoustic, I probably stole it from Bert.

Re: Guitar Mindsets
I couldn't imagine life without single coils, and if I could only have one guitar it would probably be a Strat cos I can do 95% of what I do on it. But there is another Les Paul in my future when I meet the right one and I look forward to that day. :D Did have a weird acoustic mindset for a long tim...

OK. Cranky 'I hate digital' old fart is officially impressed. Some of those clean tones were sweet.
The whole Dream Rig looked really tempting but I do wonder;
Would I live long enough to actually program it?

Same buyer also took the Ferrograph reel to reel machine. Perhaps we have a replacement Denche on the loose.sty wrote:Positive feedback placed for the buyer, so it looks like it's going to be a successful trade then.
