Thanks for the review - how is Scott's vocals sounding these days? He used to do a fair bit of crooning on the last few STP albums, but this sounds pretty hardcore (heard the singles)...cheers

Actually, Ibanez Talman's are made from MDF, and they actually ring quite nicely. Hardboard flakes real bad and can't imagine why epi would do such a shocking thing by topping an LP with it - LP himself must be turing in his grave (is he dead?) Tempted to take a wood file to my ebony Les Paul to mak...

Mmm, she's quite hot....shame about the hard boardtop Epi. Ah well, that's why one buys OTT $ US of Hackin A gats.

I had to vote ""up my arse", but only on the basis that you have to go to anx-ray clinic and tell them you have pains in your abdomen and require an x-ray...basivcally what they did on Jackass...in keeping with the busted up theme, a really well worn Les Paul looks the bix as well...b...

No spotties, and only the DJ's and hangers on...acoustics held up OK with some serious string bending going on. I have a Maton EC so it's built like a tank. We are getting some air play for our song Crash - I think e-radio are playing it in the States too, and it's on their top 100 or something. Had...

Actually, a good point derived from that DrRog - possibly subconciously we are relating our preference to the actual feel of the neck and setup. That is, if I played a very well set-up and radiused Maple f/board neck vs. a poorly set-up super thin Rosewood f/board neck maybe I'd think Maple was a be...

We Played LIVE on Radio

Yep, we played tonight on the Generator in Hamilton for about 1/2 an hour...kinda surreal...great people - recorded the session and gave us a copy. Did our top 5 songs acoustically (v.s massive wall of noise that we normally have live). The intimacy and trimmed down playing was actually very refresh...

All of this is good advice and should help improve the issue. As a rule, a Fender scale neck will rattle slightly more than a Gibson scale neck when setup exactly the same. It's pure math re. string vibration frequencies. Maybe that's what your luthier was trying to say Treva? Doesn't mean you have ...

Fingerboards

I always found maple boards kinda "sticky" feeling - usually because of the lacquer on them. The new matt finishes have changed that a little, but I still prefer ebony and rosewood. My P-90 tele has an Ebony f/boarded Strat neck which is so smooth to play, even compared to my LP. I think i...

Well done BB, that is one beautiful amp. I have those Jensens in my 2x10 bin (pics posted on here somehwere) - they do mellow and they do sound amazing... Was thinking about upgrading my Sovtek red "ON" lamp for a blue one...can you recommend any particluar one that works best with LE34's....
