Been offered this Strat but struggling with what it’s worth.
Made in Japan 1990, volume pots been removed but included. Yes it appears to be a fluro hand covering where the volume pot was (can’t explain why)
Looks to be ok condition but not mint.

Navigating the software is the worst part of the Tone X, matter of fact I can’t even get it to download anymore. I’m just looking into this myself,so will be interested to see what people are using. I’ve only downloaded a couple of free ones from Tone Junkie so far and both were better than the stock sounds. 66 Vox and 65 Deluxe reverb. I guess it depends of your looking for clean amps though.

I kinda want to buy another AC15/30 and do these mods just for fun, glad you have documented it. I feel this might come in handy one day, if a AC30cch was available cheap locally I might just do that.

Pots and wiring seems like a no brainer, as do frets.
However routing a swimming pool size hole for a new set of pickups or drilling holes all around the edge for weight relief? Sit back down, pass the guitar over to a trusted safe friend.

Actually might flag this idea and sell the Tone X pedal, found out my computer is too old to even use the Tone X software! Hadn’t budgeted for upgrading computer in this equation.
