Re: Jonny's NAD
I had a couple of the AC15's, really nice amps. I have done a bit of work on these making them sound better too. I did see on YouTube someone that made a few mods to the amp, which do sound interesting. What were the main points of improvement you found? That said, I'm chuffed with how they both so...

Re: Jonny's NAD
I haven't had a chance to play through one of the later series of hand wired AC15s, and I'm curious how they compare to the Heritage. What made you decide to sell it?

Re: Jonny's NAD
Well, I've had a chance to have a decent play through this, and I could not be any happier. My initial thinking was finding something Fender-ish for my stereo ideas, but the AC30 partners with the 15 so well. I feel like I've got two keeper amps that do just what I need. For those unfamiliar, the Vo...

Jonny's NAD
Don't get excited, JB. It's not that kind of thread. Firstly thanks to Molly for putting me on to Null_pointer, and then thanks to Null-pointer who had the contact details of the seller so I could make an offer outside the realms of TradeMe. Also thanks to codedog for pestering me to post some more ...

Re: New Bigsby Day
I always file off the aluminium "stop" that prevents the Bigsby arm from traveling all the way back over the strings (like a Strat arm can). I find it hard to use unless I do this. That's an interesting idea. I don't remember that stop being there on the Gretsch licensed tailpiece I had, ...

Re: NGD
Glam is the word! I'm not pretty enough to play that, but I wish I was.

Re: New Bigsby Day
Update: Playing more and more, and I'm just not feeling right about the tension of the spring. I gigged with a 6122 for a couple of years, years ago, and the Bigsby on that was quite soft and didn't need you to lean on it at all. I've seen that Reverend sell a lighter gauge spring for the Bigsby whi...
