Looks similar to the hum-x. From memory that design has a cap in series with the ground pin. Not sure if legal in NZ (?) And you couldn’t get the hum x with NZ/Aust style plug.

Assume you’ve tried banging your fist on the top of the amp?

Reflow the solder joints on the tube socket? Check the socket is tight? Might have disturbed something when installing the tube?

Snap out of it children. Just go get a JTM45. Again…..

Whatever hole repair you use, at the end of the day, use a much longer (50mm+) proper wood screw (with smaller stem and larger thread).
