Re: Swagger of bursts

Pop quiz: you can have one of those guitars…..or…..the hands/chops (but not fame and fortune) of your favourite player.

Let’s see the Echoplex!
I love this thing, best tone sweetner on the planet, takes any amp and makes it sound better, being one of the greatest sounding delays is just a bonus.

So much win in that pic…. 👊🏼

Half way through. Love it how they’re actually drilling down on the details, unlike Tone Talk where you’re literally yelling at Marc to ask the obvious question.

Re: Setting Pickup Height

String gauge matters a lot too.

I was playing 12-60 at one point and dropped the pickups so low they fell off the screws 🤡

Re: Stereo amp setup, buying advise needed.

I recon they should ditch the stereo idea, and buy 2 x $2000 amps. At least then they’ll have enough for two good quality, good sounding, reliable amps, rather than 4 x entry level sh*t boxes. I tend to agree. I actually thought the Helix would be just fine but the live engineer hasn’t been happy w...

Nice of him to leave some licks in it for me - mostly of the minor pentatonic variety…..😂

NAD: Tourmaster CrossFit

Not normally one for NADs, but lockdown got me bored as s*it, so here’s some content for ya’ll…… Multi-channel amps are totally not my thing. But at $800 (that’s $18/kg, or $28/knob), the numbers don’t lie. Also managed not to blow my back out getting it into the house - let’s be honest, that’s the ...

Mmmm much love for the tonemaster after watching the fretted americana vids with Phil X for so many years
I used to laugh when he’d switch from the Tonemaster, which always sounded great, to AC30 - and you’d instantly lose the chub.
