Re: Bass effects!

For me, I use a compressor (Diamond or Empress), a drive of some sort (a Rogue, a DP3X, a Pork Loin, or something), an MXR Bass Octave, a Fuzz going into a preamp of some description (Tonehammer, HX Stomp etc). Preamp is really because I never play with an amp and use in-ears.

Compressor I could see Any love for hpf ? I’m hoping the little bastard (amp not my illegitimate love child) will bring enough drive without dirty work HPF is a bit niche imo - I’d only bother if there’s a huge need, and you’d be trimming below 30hz-60hz to prevent amp/pa from trying to reproduce t...

Re: Bass effects!

Compression and their different types can bring much joy.

You might want a drive pedal of some description

Could get something like this:

But you’d probably want to get its own sim and plan and things

Re: Pedals Of Epicness

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXuTgkAEkMs I have one of these on my board - it’s absolutely BRILLIANT! For those with modellers in their rigs it’s pretty amazing - you can put your whole setup in the loop and send with the XLR out. If the battery runs out, you can just plug in to the unit. You re...

Re: Pedals Of Epicness

It's only the MIDI control for those of us that way inclined. V2 Bluesky is probably the only one I’d take over the v1 (as I want stereo, not midi) - I like the shimmer being on a knob vs a switched mode. Oh yeah, NPD - I have a Cloudburst. It’s excellent although I wish that it had two mono output...

Sounds better to my ears than the v2.
Got it in a trade to give it a whirl but it’s a keeper - absolutely gorgeous washy delay
Glad to hear it's being enjoyed!

Re: NOGD: Unexpected reunion...

I love these stories.

I once tracked down my old Warwick Streamer LX and it was a nice sense of coming home.

Sold it again though - I find that I sell things for a reason and buying back only reinforces why I sold it once the nostalgic hit passes.
