Re: Return of the Gibson shocker thread!

Reckon we’re well past being retro. The 80’s are to now what Vera Lynn was to the 80’s!

Re: Recommend me a practice amp for hard rock and metal

I got £27 delivery to NZ when I had a play with the Anderton's website. Looks like if you have had something else in the cart with different delivery charges, it holds that charge until you click right through till the button before payment before it updates. But their delivery charges can be weird...

Talk you out of it? Okay. Don’t get the rockerverb 50 you insane moron! There’s a 100, and more is better?

(All insults intended in jest, and come from a place of deep jealousy as you potentially acquire an amp I’d love…)

Re: Guitar prices: what's the sweet spot?

I have owned quite a few cheap and expensive guitars over the years and price doesn't guarantee anything. I set myself some boundaries a while back to not spend big on guitars anymore. I have 2 cheap-ish guitars at present, a Gretsch G5220 which I bought new for $1200, and a Sire T7 which I got as ...

Re: Baritone Madness

I can’t speak highly enough of mine- Squier Paranormal Cabronita Baritone: FC90B654-D8BA-4D94-9791-98FCDF2A6EBA.jpeg Not cheap here, but not horrendous either. Not as cool a colour, but seems reasonably priced? https://www.musicmachine.co.nz/product/squier-paranormal-baritone-cabronita-telecaster-s...
