That's a shame - when will Wellington get a rink? Could do with a 3rd up in Auckland.
Reading up on the trio - maybe I should just spend less on stuff and more on lessons?

Re: You 4 string buggers are REDUNDANT (NPD Trio)
Way off topic, but I adore ice hockey. When I moved to Canada at about 11/12, I tried out for the school hockey team, and was pushed around, knocked over and laughed off the rink. For days after at school as I came into various rooms snickering would start about the stupid short kid from NZ who tri...

Re: You 4 string buggers are REDUNDANT (NPD Trio)
Still playing, I play ice, never did learn how to stop on inline skates! Hockey & guitar are pretty much all I do hobby wise. The trio seems a pretty sweet way to go, I actually had band in a box ages back, but lost it when I went to mac & the licences don't transfer. But even easier with th...

Re: You 4 string buggers are REDUNDANT (NPD Trio)
Wasn't expecting to find fellow guitar/hockey players on this site! And over 40 is a great time to be playing - show those young punks how it's done... Have to agree with the chap rooting for Tampa - but only because I am a Stevie Y fan (through my Red Wings fandom...) Back on topic - I do a lot of ...

Cool, yeah that seemed to be a common complaint, though many said they got used to it. I haven't had a lot of experience with wahs and so forth so maybe ignorance is bliss will work in my favour!

I picked this up on TM: http://digitech.com/en/products/ex-7-expression-factory
Just awaiting delivery. Has anyone had any experience with these? I figured it would be fun to play with the whammy/synth swells/wah.

Re: Show us your whole setup....
I have the head and cab, only because of the look. I think for practicality, if I was playing out or anything, the combo might be the easier option. But it's a great amp, super versatile.benderissimo wrote:Combo or head? I've been looking for a combo for a while...HackSaw wrote:Egnater Tweaker 15...

Sorry, what I meant to say was... I am gassing for a tele - in particular one of the Sonic Blue Bajas. Are there many baja owners here in NZ?

Re: Show us your whole setup....
Hi Guys, Figured out the photo posting, so here is my humble setup (since this is my favourite part of the forum!) SG standard is my main guitar, with the Epi custom tuned down to D standard for fun. The orange micro terror is mostly an mp3 player, unless I occasionally fancy a bit of stereo action....

Re: midi controller
I use the NI rig kontrol with guitar rig, I assume it can be configured to work with other amp sims. Works well out of the box with guitar rig so should do what you want. Discontinued though so eBay is the only option... eg. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Native-Instruments-Guitar-Rig-3-Software-and-Rig-Ko...

I'll back up Warren at audiozephyr, had a refret, bone nut, and set up and the work was stellar.
