Re: Passive Vs Active Attenuator

What brand is it? I had a Tom Sholtz one (of Boston and the Rockman fame) many years ago. My main memory of it was that it got hot enough to make toast. Thats a big question a huge problem, the brand has been rubbed off, I can see that its a Pi pad attenuator. An old guy has been using it for a lon...

Passive Vs Active Attenuator

Hi Guys,

I came a cross this 30 year old passive attenuator, I'm just wonderng, what's the use for them? THere's an active and passive ones but It seems like the passive is just a volume. Even so if you want to crank a tube amp, what does the passive do? (sorry i've no idea)

ROLAND FV-2

Hey guys, Any thoughts on a remodelled FV-2. I heard Randy Rhoads used it, although it's got an earieball setup (kite style volume) inside. everything else is there. The Min volume has been removed but it seems like it would be an easy mod to return it to an original still the casing is old haha. Yo...

WTB: Power Bank/ Pedals

1.) After a cheapish powerbank. The powerbank I currently have is not suitable for my new guitar pedals as my bank only powers up to 100MA (10 outlet). I just missed the Caline Powerbank from one of the members :crybaby: but anything around that range would be good. 2.) vintage pedals Let me know wh...

Only slightly? I can try harder if you like... Amp sounds freaking awesome--huge Fender cleans, great flexible and musical overdrive, very useable effects, etc, etc, Hendrix played this amp ;-)
+1.... buy it!!

Re: 1x12 Micro Cab

Update! 95% finished. Been like this for a couple of weeks now. With matching pedalboard and the New/old prestige RG (been cleaning it for hours lol). These are the only pedals I currently have. It's all the sound I need at the moment but 2 more will be on the way from an NZguitar member hopefully s...
