I've got a Micro POG as well, but the 2 don't really get along very well together. As much as I'd like to like fuzz, I just don't think it's my cup of tea. Twice bitten...

So, after talking about getting the clean boost or overdrive, when I saw them all lined up in the K Rd Rockshop I had a rush of blood to the head and bought the Ruby fuzz. A couple of weeks later and I'm afraid I'm not really getting on with it. But then I had the same problem with the Zvex Fuzz Fac...

Great picture, isn't it?! I've never seen a picture of JC with an electric.

I've played a Maton 325 which is a nice guitar in that price range. Not quite as nice as the Gibson J185 I bought myself last year, but then that was a little bit more that $1500...
