Re: Capo guitars

An R9 is a reissue of a 1959 Les Paul Standard. The COA is correct. This is the guitar he's selling tho', its not an R9 as far as I can tell! http://legacy.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/2017/Custom/Les-Paul-Standard-Lightly-Figured.aspx The COA would be Les Paul Standard for that one too.

Re: Cunningham Amps

I've met Tim, he is a thoroughly nice chap and his workmanship is outstanding. They're great amps.

So are the ones that Mike builds with BG's cabs.

Since we're asking Conway things, what do you think of the Terraform Conway? Still pleasing to the ear?
Hi Matt. Yep, it's got some great sounds in it. Small footprint and very easy to use. Most impressive. Sounds more natural/organic that the Strymon Mobius to my ear.

You IT people probably know better than me, but there seems to be a lot a scam/spam/nasty emails posing as shipping info updates around lately. I wouldn't click any links.

Re: Wanted: Jackson Audio Bloom

The only other one I've tried that I think is on par with the Bloom is the Drybell Unit 67, which is on my #2 board.

Actually, the Foxpedal Refinery ver.2 is very good too. But it doesn't have the EQ section that the Bloom and Unit 67 have.

Re: Wanted: Jackson Audio Bloom

How does it compare to the philosopher's tone Conway??? I've had Philosphers Tone standard, germanium, micro versions of both and Philosophers Rock. I like them. Would place them pretty much one par with Wampler Ego and any of the various Keeleys. But that is a level below the Bloom. I've also had ...

Re: Wanted: Jackson Audio Bloom

Review on it Conway ? Been looking at these. Be interesting to see how it compares to an Wampler ego I really like it. I've had a Wampler Ego previously which was very good, but the Bloom adds a lot - separate 3 band EQ and a (rampable) boost. There are 6 different compressor algorithms including a...

Re: Buying from Japan via Reverb.com?

Just keep in mind nothing is moving fast from Japan right now. I have three orders from USA stuck in Japan. There’s probably a 2-3 month wait I’m told. I've had a couple of guitars come from the US via Japan and they got through there without delay. Major delays inside the US right now though - 3 g...
