Re: Jays' BBs

Ah, it might be my twisted mind, but one of those options is less genitalia oriented than the other.

Re: Nitro spraying advice

Unfortunately, this is the reality in NZ . In the Waikato the humidity is the killer.

In short, spray in summer/autumn. Build in between?

They look to be very well made. And the dude has spent a lot of time on the design etc. hats off for that.

Re: Forums have been slow, how about a 'In the mail' thread?

Might suit a more transparent amp I’m thinking. I don’t do clean, and to me the ToTG into my crunchy amps sounded very compressed and flat. Could be user error too.

I also note the then owner of said pedal is remaining very quiet ;)

Re: Show Us Your Guitar

Thanks to a nice chap I know I’m back to two ES-335’s. Very different guitars. Right is a Murphy Lab 64, and left is me ole ‘60. The old guitar sounds like a Telecaster. Tight, bright and ready to rock. Good to see the old girl again. She owes you her life. It’s amazing that I have it again. Thank ...

Re: Whats on your amp workbench?

This Bill again? Can't wait to hear what you think. Yip, had to really twist his arm to get him to do it too! It’s built to the Marshall Schematic as well, not the kit one it was supposedly before, so should sound pretty wicked! Optimus has had a facelift also, I’ll post a pic when I get it back, h...

Ok, got the smaller board. It’s way easier to manage physically. A Wampler Mofetta. For pedalboard B.

I have always liked mosfet distortion….balanced, doesn’t loose bottom end, not too compressed.

Re: Show Us Your Guitar

Oooh, what's the neck like on the '64? Have been looking at some online. I would say, perfect. Uncannily like my ‘64 SG! I think it's the biggest neck I've played! 😊 That’s weird - it’s kinda like a slightly smaller R9. And that JM you have has an R9 neck (I ordered it that way from Musikraft).

Fat but a little less shoulder than an R9.

Oh, I had one on loan. That’s right.

Wasn’t my cuppa. Bland might be the word?
