Re: A Legend Guitar ???

Yes each to to his own. This setup was what the present owner wanted at low cost. He wanted the blender knob different and settled on black with no lettering. I guess to be reminded what it was for ? Personally I like neck single coil, no middle and bridge Humbucker.

Re: A Legend Guitar ???

Now with master volume and tone combined with a Blender pot in place of the second tone. Tweaked here and there and added a humbucker. Sold real easy with buyer pleased.

Re: A Legend Guitar ???

Those tuners and stamp at the back of the neck are a hallmark of 80s Korean cheapy guitars, which probably means Samick made it. They were making 50% of the world's guitars around that time. Ok . Now I have discovered the potted staggered pickups are all the same polarity ! That is not how the mode...

Re: Swapping different fretted necks on a Start

Actually I believe with a 24 and just about any hardtailed stat body it becomes a breeze if the neck can be fitted OK ?

Re: Swapping different fretted necks on a Start

I am interested to know any views on exchanging different numbered fretted necks ( 21,22 and 24 ) on different stratocaster body's . Like, irrespective of the existing setup, can it be possible to do this with or without moving the bridge position ? :? Interesting question. The scale lengths would ...

Re: Swapping different fretted necks on a Start

The necks are all the same size (if from the same manufacturer, but even then it will only vary slightly), but the overhang differs. A 24 fret fingerboard will encroach into the neck pickup's region unless you move it. images (2).jpeg Do not think I would attempt that. Fooling around with the neck ...
