Re: Fulltone closing?

In general, I question what was obviously acceptable in the past was really acceptable to begin with. That things that we consider "mild" was actually toxic to people that were either too afraid, marginalised or ignorant to speak up. People were still susceptible to echo chambers before th...

Re: Tone Seekers - Your Personal Best Tone

It annoys me how good it sounds. I like the PG spark for the tone matching and play along stuff it does with the app, but the mustang sounds way better to me. Likewise I have an iRig pro into Ipad amplitube that is good for recording and messing around, but still the mustang sounds better. One cave...

Re: Tone Seekers - Your Personal Best Tone

I think my best guitar tone I've ever "past participle of get" was my ES-335 clone (Duncan Designed 59 neck pickup) -> NeuralDSP Fortin Cali Suite VST plugin (which was then compressed by Ableton stock compressor). Valhalla VintageVerb and Valhalla Delay were send effects, each with their ...

Re: Mr Glyns Pickups

Mr Glyn's pickups are priced around about or below new sets of Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio, Bareknuckle etc at local music retailers. They sound great, made locally, and his customer service is pretty good. I thought about going to Tone Riders instead but I don't trust them to be as good as Mr Glyn's p...

Re: Mr Glyns Pickups

I'm gonna be a dumb-dumb and go for a set of Attitudes. I may regret it later. But hey, if I'm wrong then that means another guitar for me loaded with filtertrons. Pfft. Who cares about money, time and space? My plan is to get them installed to a designated metal guitar tuned to D standard with heav...

Re: PC based gear sims

The problem I have when using the Amplitude App, is it wont share the Interface output with the other media players I normally use in windows to play the mp3s. I assume this is normal? Do I have to load each mp3 into a DAW and use the Amplitude as a VST , or is there an easier way? My device is a B...

Are the tubes in the ac10 okay? Have you checked whether if any of them are microphonic?
