Re: Insecure Delusion (TOOL tribute) - The Cabana, May 4th
Wish I could be there. Do you guys do any tracks off Fear Inoculum? Do you guys tackle the synth stuff also? Nothing from Fear Innoculum yet but Pneuma is on the list. As you can imagine, there’s quite a catalogue! We’re essentially working album by album - starting with Ænema with one or two “hit ...

Re: Large Headstocks on Strats
I didn't have a preference until I got a Robin Trower Strat on a trade, with the bigger headstock. I took a liking to it, and didn't think it looked too out of proportion.

Re: Return of the Gibbons shocker thread!
Is it a Gibson cardigan ? If it's anything like their t-shirts, I don't want one. The sleeves are too short and tight. Like it's large everywhere else, and medium on the sleeves. Quality control, etc. Nah, Gibson know their target audience. Fat old men with scrawny little arms. Well all your sister...

Re: Return of the Gibbons shocker thread!
Looking at the present and future guitarists, I'll stick with the past thanks. Audible dreck, 90% of it. Although there still seems to be a plethora of youngsters on YouTube playing Sabbath and Zeppelin material, so maybe there is hope. I'll fetch my cardigan. Is it a Gibson cardigan ? If it's anyt...

Re: Les Paul and Tele tuning stability tips?
How do you string your guitars? In my experience it's always the nut. My '68 custom RI stayed in tune forever, but a few slots were cut too low. I had a bone nut put in, and the stability went comically backwards, which led to some anger towards the "luthier" who did it. I put a graph tech...

Cool unique shape. Early Yamaha made some crazy looking body styles. Love it.
