Re: Show us your Telecasters

Japanese fender 70’s reissue, ash body. Added a Bigsby, and a kill switch and flipped the controls https://i.imgur.com/8f715uC.jpg A killswitch AND a Bigsby? That’s a first for me, I cannot imagine the genre that fits with :-) I can imagine Barrie Cadogan of Little Barrie fame rocking a Tele with t...

What an absolute bastard. I've had a couple of arsehole weeks at work and simply forgot this was on.

Looks like a fun time was had. Next time, yeah?

Re: MPC 18w "TMB" Handwired Marshall clone head + (WOW RARE) Marshall CX 1x12 Cab

I've got to admit that head looks awfully tempting... What's the clean headroom like? Comparable to a AC15? I've never played an AC15, much less side-by-side, so I honestly can't say. I've played a fair few AC30s and owned an AC30HWH though - that would be comparable to the TMB side of this 18-watt...

Re: What is your girth?

Ok, I'll play. This was a very surprising exercise for me, and certainly fingerboard width should be taken into account, as my Jag (which I always perceived as being medium) and my Nocaster (chunky) ended up with very similar results. Johnny Marr Jaguar: 11.1, 12.0, 13.1 - C - Medium Nocaster: 11.1,...

Re: Thinking Of Picking This Up...

Holy hell. I bugger off for a week to actually do some work, and I miss all this in my own thread??? Surely I get some kind of honorary board member role for inadvertently enabling a scammer? You make a good case Jonny, and fair’s fair. You can put up the capital. We will need $10,000,500 in cash. ...

In defiance of all natural laws.
Looks like someone's tried to build a homemade Ovation Breadwinner.

And failed.

Re: NGD: Tele Content!

Yes indeed!

That is a very fine looking Thinline (would love a super-chambered Thinline). Curious about the bridge - what is the advantage of the design, purely to allow for more chambering than with a standard bridge?

Either way, it looks damn cool.

That's impossible! Every guitarist always needs yet another guitar. It's always the next guitar that'll make us better players right! Right!?
Enabling appreciated! Unfortunately still crap.....

Re: Thinking Of Picking This Up...

Yikes.

Sold for $1400 NZD. Not willing to stump up that much for a guitar that I can't play first and assess, especially as it had known issues. Not to mention shipping and import duties.

Oh well. It's not like I really needed another guitar...

...yet.
