Re: Changing a normally open FS to normally closed
I'm not sure my drawing skills are up to standard to free-hand something on top of the pedal...!

Re: Changing a normally open FS to normally closed
I made you a shopping list, you'll need a bit of hook up wire, I listed pcb mounted parts, you could mount on perfboard, or look up solder lug versions, which are less fiddly to solder directly to. or create a pcb in eagle and get that made, i have been ordering from JLC but minimum order is 5 pcbs...

Re: Changing a normally open FS to normally closed
Hmm okay thanks.
I could just get the nux nmp-2 which lets you toggle between NC/NO and latched.
Problem is that it's silver. Maybe I can duraseal it?

Changing a normally open FS to normally closed
I'm wanting to get a black dual footswitch, and this hotone Ampero switch has just the right asthetic. However, it's normally open and a post on reddit suggests that it's not possible to rewire it to normally closed: https://www.reddit.com/r/guitarpedals/comments/17p33sm/onoff_hotone_ampero_switch/ ...

Re: IK Multimedia ToneX
To change the reverb type of a preset using the pedal: 1. Push the knob labelled 'Parameter' (Bottom leftmost knob). The display will now show what additional parameters to edit. 2. Scroll through the additional parameters by turning that knob. You can change the reverb type by scrolling until the ...

Re: IK Multimedia ToneX
I got the tonex - it's pretty awesome! Definitely liking some of the tone models; the "Overdrive Special" is based on a Dumble and it sounds fantastic. I find the software so confusing to use though. Just editing a preset to add reverb is quite an ordeal. Perhaps I'm doing it wrong? Here's...

Re: Looper…is it worth spending up ?
So, if you’re running your signal into a real amp, then you’d put it right before the amp. Alternatively, if you have an effects loop, you can put it at the end of the effects loop. Basically put it as close the speaker on the signal chain as possible. You don’t need an amp modeller, although a lot ...

Re: Looper…is it worth spending up ?
You can put the looper anywhere in your signal chain. Usually, you put it at the end just before your amp/monitors.

Re: IK Multimedia ToneX
From what I've read, that's correct. You either use an IR, or a cab. Not both.
Using both would be like taking the output from one cabinet and piping it into another cab...

Re: IK Multimedia ToneX
Okay awesome thanks for the tips.
I have the york audio cabs, I've tried them with the pod go and I couldn't really get them to sound better than the stock cabs.
Will be interested to see if they are better on the tonex.

That Hotone soul press 2 looks interesting. I like that it has an expression out too...
What did you come from before that? Did you find it much of an adjustment to switch to the smaller wah?
