I got me a DHL credit account but the freight cost is still hellish. So, built a 120VAC version, tested it for hours and freighted it to Alas...

I think I have everything I need here. Pub gig tonight. No call for the dd5 yet, but you never know…

Um, where’s the high gain?

You can’t play that one Metallica song you need at the pub with a bad monkey!

Re: NAD: Mesa Boogie Electra Dyne Head

Did a quick roadie to Fielding to pick up the Electra Dyne short head that has been tempting me for ages on Trade Me. Hell of a nice geezer that was selling it and had owned it from new.I Wasn’t sure I needed it, but after plugging it in and having a wail, I think it’s a keeper. Amazing clean and b...

A friedman sir-compre on tm, says it has overdrive as well, that might work for you, I’ve been thinking about buying it and using it as a boost…

Re: 1974X 18 watt - StewMac kit FOR SALE - SOLD pending $

Happy to 3D print a Marshall logo for it for shipping cost if the buyer wants one.... Lol, OK, it will actually be quite interesting, never seen something off a 3d printer that was actually useful! No rush, not picking it up for a couple weeks… Tony, have you been unfaithful to Bill again? You know...

Re: 1974X 18 watt - StewMac kit

Oh, I thought you were wanting to sell it? I have no idea what such things are worth, but all the non branded amp circuits, as cool as they may be are going for less and less it would seem. None of the ones I’m watching on tm are selling at all! My friend would love this as a project though, so if ...

Re: Cable recommendations

Used to use planet waves, never had one fail but gave them all away. Now I get Waylon Mcpherson to make them, costs the same and I like the reasonably thin cable he uses, doesn’t introduce any noise, takes up less space and I’ve had them for about 5 years and they’re still going so far. Having said ...

That’s actually quite impressive, not a bad tone through headphones, must sacrifice the highs, although the bass lost some mids too didn’t it?

He’s very natural in front of the camera too…
