Re: Demuntification of flashed over sockets in a Jansen bass 50
Cheers. Was all going smoothly until I checked the heater voltage. I forgot that jansen used 12.6v taps. At least I checked before plugging in the tubes. Heaters were rewired making use of the filament CT to get 6.3v

Re: Whats on your amp workbench?
Here's a cool, but odd, wee Australian chap. Film related, part of an add on system to get sound off modern films. Little cab will get a 5f1ish amp. The little box with handle is an amp but I think I'll keep that for another project. IMG_20220814_141512.jpg IMG_20220814_141640.jpg Now (finally) com...

Re: Victor 16mm film projector amp
Hello Uncle Doug on YouTube has a couple of good videos on these. I have built variations of ampeg and 5e3 circuits in them. The bastard is that the PT are (very nearly) all 110v in film projector amps. Best, Paul Sorry Paul, feel free to let it go, in the midst of decluttering ready for a house mo...

Re: Victor 16mm film projector amp
Very nearly all film projectors are 110v. Reason for this is the technology involved of making a suitably bright projector lamp filament.
