Re: Buying an HX Stomp on Andertons

Try Peach Guitars on Reverb. Says they ship to NZ. https://reverb.com/item/33652234-line-6-helix-hx-stomp Wow. Even with the expensive shipping it still works out around $500 less than NZRS. Didn't realise they were that expensive - have they had a price hike recently? I think not being able to pro...

Awwww stink. It’s being refunded.

Gotta love the brand monopolies in NZ. Support local I guess?

Well, my order went through. Money has been taken from my account. $811 nzd using Paypal. I'll wait until they confirm it before I get too excited.

Buying an HX Stomp on Andertons

I'm about to pull the trigger on an HX Stomp. Rockshop price: $1349, Andertons price: $772 (incl shipping).

What's the catch? Will I have to pay GST or duty or anything? Google tells me nothing to pay unless it's over $1k.

Re: PG Spark users thread

Interesting. It would be mostly headphones playing. I guess I could also just grab a decent interface and some kind of modelling software. Theres the convenience factor of an amp sitting there ready to go, plus the Spark software is pretty cool if you wanna jam along with songs from spotify or yout...

Re: PG Spark users thread

Bumping this... is the Spark still the shizz?? I'm quite to keen to grab one of these for low volume guitar and bass practice. Form factor looks great.
It looks like the only place to buy them is Amazon AU.

HX Stomp powered by a USB Power Bank (SUCCESS)

HX Stomp owners may find this helpful? After a bit of trial and error I finally have my stomp running off battery power. You need 3 things: 1. USB 9V Step-Up Power Cable $16.90 from Jaycar https://www.jaycar.co.nz/universal-usb-9v-step-up-power-cable/p/PP1976 2. Truetone CL6 Line 6 convertor $6 from...

Re: Recommend a BONEHEAD simple MultiFX

Line 6 Pod Go is a stoopid-simple Helix. Pretty solid construction. I've played a few interesting gigs with mine and it still looks new. Only problem is, the power supply is really short and doesn't seem very sturdy.

Re: Bass amp, shoutouts to Dave

Sweet. I've been considering a Fender Rumble 40. Now I'm interested in these guys... How loud does the 30 get? I want something for on-stage monitoring with a quiet-ish acoustic band. I always go through the PA. The 60w looks good too.
