how much for a loop? Not really worth it, if you only want it to switch on two effects at once. As TMG said, it isn't difficult to switch on two effects one at a time anyway. On another note, if you are just getting into effects, it might be worthwhile splashing out a little more for a decent multi...

Never done it commercially but I once (about 6 years ago) built every fuzz pedal I could find a schematic for - still hjave about 6 of them kicking about. Amazing the variety of sounds you could get. Though briefly about making stuff for sale but the (in my view) neccessary high end foootswitches, ...

Awesome, but I have a question, what are you running through it?
Just one pedal, or are you daisychaining?

Well here's my board. It's made from a briefcase. To make it: 1) Go nuts on the briefcase, detaching the lid from the rest of it, removing the hinges etc. 2) Cut piece of wood size of the briefcases interior 3) Cut little supports to hold the wood elevated 4) Drill all the holes into the board for a...

Probably not.
From my experience, I've run pretty much any stompbox from a regulated adapter fine, with no hum.
The problem for me is when I daisychain 2 or more pedals, I ALWAYS get ground loop hum.
That's why I bought a DC brick, I now have no audible hum at all, I totally recommend it.
