Fixed the issue on the SH-1 - the "hold" fader for the VCA had disconnected. Re-soldered and that's working good now! Also repaired a couple of broken screw holes so now it's feeling a lot sturdier. Next step is sorting out the tuning as it's pretty bad at the moment. Found a service manua...

My latest toy arrived yesterday, a very old and smelly Roland SH-1
Needs a bit of TLC - only real issue is that all the notes never trigger "off". Liking it a lot already though

Actually saw a bottle of this under the sink at home recently, completely forgot. See if that does the trick. Might even remove the Xs with a bit of elbow grease

As a side note, I really like that guitar! Love the idea of the single pickup tele deluxe

New offset day - picked up this Toronado GT at cash converters. This is from 2005, Fender were making a few guitars in Korea at that time and I think they're pretty good bang for buck.
