Re: Return of the Gibson shocker thread!

Has anyone ever really played a Les Paul Standard and thought "nope, needs another humbucker in the middle of nowhere"? Had one. Loved the look, didn't know what to do with the 3rd humbucker. Even worse, when I considered pickup change, that 3rd one is just a bit of an annoying hanger-on.

But the best bet is that it's MIDI capable. So using the Boss ES-5, you can send a MIDI signal to tell...

Re: PC based gear sims

Should add, all I really need is a decent blackface sim... Cleans are important. Would be nice to use my own pedalboard, but not essential I suppose I seem to recall there were some nice free Fender amp plugins around. Sorry, can't recall any right now. They sounded nice enough through headphones. ...

Out of shot is an M-Audio axiom 49 midi controller and my Tannoy Active monitors. The torpedo level is so I can set the top of my monitors level - levelness ocd....

And the very last video... Before you watch it, I like to point out a few of things: Firstly - Both guitars are built from scratch by forum members Lawrence and myself. Lawrence's logo is 'Arps' and I am unsure about the model name. My logo is 'JvPP' and this model I called 'Duovette'. Secondly - w...
