I notice that too! However, I noticed it was mostly when I mute the note in a particular, possibly abrupt, way. If I consciously mute it a wee bit more gently I notice the thump is barely there. That doesn't always work out though. But yes, it is noticeable, and I have not encountered a pedal that d...
